Introduction to sunvox, a great multiplatdorm tool to make electronic music. It just seems like the kind of project the thing was made for, and I wonder if anyone has successfully managed to make a decent midi looper/sequencer with live recording, step sequencing etc. wav samples with PyGame, or create your own Piano-controlled contraptions. I'm aware of a few Sun Vox, Milky Tracker, and Seq24 seem to be decent tracker options, but each with their own disappointing limitations or just bizarre workflows. I see a lot of great synths out there, but limited sequencers. Why? Because it would be really freaking sweet to see that little computer actually put to good use. I know of the old stuff like the Yamaha Qy-70 etc, and I personally use an MPC One (which more than meets my needs since 2.8), but I was curious if anyone knows of a good setup that could run on a Raspberry Pi? With the popularity of hardware synths, I am curious as to why there aren't more options for decent sequencing out there on a budget.
